Pfluger Associates promotes Michelle Dudley to partner, managing architect in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (February 6, 2007) – Pfluger Associates Architects LP, a full-service architecture, planning and interior design firm, has promoted Michelle Dudley to partner and managing architect of its Houston office. She was a project architect in the firm's San Antonio office.

"Michelle is a tremendous asset to Pfluger Associates and we're excited that clients in the Houston area will benefit from her unique talent and depth of experience," said Brad Pfluger, president of the firm and principal-in-charge of the Austin office.  Since 2000, projects directed by Dudley have earned more than a dozen awards in Texas. She is well-known for her expertise in planning performing arts facilities.

"I am delighted to be taking on the task of helping serve our clients in the Houston area," Dudley said. "It's a privilege to be part of an organization that is so well-regarded in the educational facilities arena and I look forward to furthering our commitment to education in the Gulf Coast region."

Dudley joined Pfluger Associates in 1992 and currently serves as project manager for several projects, including master planning, programming and conceptual design for redevelopment of 92 campuses within the San Antonio Independent School District, and the St. Philips College Nursing & Allied Health and Learning Resource Center in San Antonio.

In the past, Dudley has been involved with school projects in Boerne, Brenham, Deer Park, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels, Round Rock, San Antonio, San Marcos and Schertz.  Dudley earned a master's degree in architecture from Texas Tech University and holds a bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Texas at Austin.  She is a registered architect and registered interior designer
