This scenic Texas Hill Country community was seeking a comprehensive teaching facility that would provide opportunity for students to focus on various career tracks.The high school features an elaborate media/ technology facility with one large television studio, two small studios and advanced television broadcasting equipment. Numerous local programs are produced by the students including a local cable channel cooking show. Other vocational/career facilities include automotive technology, building/ construction, industrial arts, health, agriculture, home economics, and business/ marketing.
This state-of-the-art high school was designed to reflect the local architecture. Thus, the project features native stone and raw and stained concrete, hand-forged copper, exposed ventilation and structural members.
