Bandera I.S.D. Bandera, Texas Bandera ISD wanted to continue using its existing centralized Middle School property, but the buildings, some dating back almost a century, were in various states of disrepair. The decision was made to tear down the lesser structures and incorporate the better buildings into a new unified campus. Classes took place during demolition and reconstruction, with students shifting among various locations around campus. The final phase preserved the historic library and administration buildings while providing new state-of-the-art facilities for this Hill Country town.
